Viavi Solutions announced enhancements to its XEdge edge monitoring platform with XEdge v2 sensors supporting four cellular modems for continuous private 4G, 5G and Wi-Fi monitoring and compact IP67-rated XEdge Lite units. The XEdge v2 portable unit now accommodates up to four cellular modems for continuous high-capacity data capture, enabling walk tests, drive tests and unattended monitoring in complex enterprise or industrial sites. The compact XEdge Lite supports a single modem in IP67-rated enclosures for harsh indoor or outdoor installations, allowing targeted always-on performance checks at scale. Both sensors integrate with the centralized XEdge Controller, delivering automated 24/7 analytics and customizable reporting. Viavi will demonstrate the enhanced portfolio at Mobile World Congress 2026 (Stand 5B18) and Critical Communications World 2026 in June, underscoring its push into multi-site private network assurance.
