2. XEdge Platform Expansion Strengthens Private Network Monitoring
VIAVI has enhanced its XEdge cloud-based edge monitoring platform with two new sensor models designed for private 4G, 5G and Wi-Fi environments. XEdge v2 is a portable multi-carrier unit supporting up to four cellular modems for continuous monitoring, walk tests and drive tests in complex sites. XEdge Lite is a compact, fixed-installation sensor with a single modem, available in standard or IP67-rated enclosures for harsh indoor and outdoor use. Both sensor types integrate with the centralized XEdge Controller for automated analytics, customizable reporting and 24/7 remote management. VIAVI will demonstrate the expanded portfolio at Mobile World Congress 2026 (May 2–5, Stand 5B18) and Critical Communications World 2026 (June 16–18).
