Viking Holdings Ltd. took delivery of the Viking Dagur, a new 190-guest river ship built at Meyer’s Neptun Werft in Germany.
The ship expands Viking’s European river capacity, targeting itineraries on the Rhine, Main, and Danube.
Viking expects delivery of 21 additional river ships by 2028, lifting its river fleet to 114 vessels.
The orderbook also includes nine ocean ships and two expedition ships by 2031, taking the combined fleet to 26 vessels.
