1. Product Introduction

Visa has unveiled Intelligent Commerce Connect, a new offering within its Intelligent Commerce portfolio designed to streamline AI-driven shopping. The solution serves as an on-ramp for merchants, agent builders and payment enablers to support agentic transactions through a unified interface.

2. Integration and Capabilities

The product functions as a network-, protocol- and token vault-agnostic layer that can be integrated via the Visa Acceptance Platform. A single integration enables payment initiation, tokenization, spend controls and authentication for AI agents making purchases.

3. Pilot Partners and Timeline

Intelligent Commerce Connect is currently in pilot with seven partners, including Aldar, AWS, Diddo, Highnote, Mesh, Payabli and Sumvin. Visa plans to onboard additional merchant and enabler partners later this year as it scales the offering.

4. Merchant and Enabler Benefits

The solution allows merchants to expose product catalog details—descriptions, specifications and inventory—directly within AI shopping experiences. Payment enablers benefit from orchestration services, support for multiple token vaults and assistance with PCI compliance.
