Visa has agreed to acquire Prisma Medios de Pago and Newpay from Advent International to strengthen its footprint in Argentina’s rapidly growing digital payments market. The acquisition, pending shareholder approval, is expected to close in fiscal Q2 2026 and will enable Visa to introduce tokenization, biometric authentication and agentic commerce solutions locally.

Verdera Energy finalized its qualifying transaction to acquire all of the issued and outstanding securities of the target company, triggering its planned rebranding as Verdera Energy Holdings Inc. This transaction satisfies listing requirements and positions the company for its next growth phase.
