Vision Marine Advances E-Motion Tech with 10% Cooling Gain, 7.5% Battery Capacity Increase
VMAR•Vision Marine improved its E-Motion platform’s cooling efficiency by around 10% and achieved a 7.5% increase in battery capacity per pack. The Company simplified assembly architecture, refactored firmware, advanced enclosure design and raised US$2.41 million net through 2.28 million ATM shares to fund strategic initiatives.
1. E-Motion Cooling and Battery Enhancements
Vision Marine recorded an approximate 10% increase in cooling efficiency during internal tests and integrated refined high-voltage battery packs that deliver about 7.5% more capacity per unit. Ongoing vessel-level validation covers mechanical fitment, electrical communication, output performance and charging compatibility.
2. System Architecture and Firmware Improvements
The company reduced assembly complexity through bill-of-materials review, part-count reduction and simplified component layout while refactoring firmware architecture to improve maintainability. Advancements to the ZCU enclosure design aim to enhance installation consistency and technician access.
3. ATM Equity Raise Details
During the quarter ended May 31, 2026, Vision Marine issued 2,275,316 shares under its at-the-market program, raising US$2.59 million gross and US$2.41 million net. Proceeds will support working capital and strategic technology initiatives.
