1. Strategic Pontoon Market Focus

Vision Marine prioritizes the North American pontoon segment, which posted 52,000-55,000 unit sales in 2024 and captured over one-third of U.S. outboard boat sales. The segment’s volume and repeat usage underpin the company’s scalable electric propulsion strategy for mass-market adoption.

2. Integration of 180HP E Motion System

The company’s 180HP E Motion 180E electric outboard was first deployed on pontoon platforms, with two recent deliveries reinforcing management’s belief that high-power stability and shore charging align with boater needs. Pontoon attributes such as predictable cruising and load distribution drove the propulsion system’s development focus.

3. Launch of SPECTR 26 Flagship Platform

Vision Marine unveiled the SPECTR 26, a 26-foot 6-inch tritoon integrating its 180HP electric outboard, shore-power charging and proprietary Hydrofin-assisted hull design. The platform features a reinforced fiberglass deck, 25-inch aluminum tubes and lifting foils to optimize efficiency, stability and handling in moderate chop.
