FDA clearance for Mayo Clinic feasibility study
Vivos received FDA clearance on July 22, 2026 for a Feasibility IDE to start a first-in-human study at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville.
Initial enrollment is set at 5 patients with non-resectable papillary thyroid carcinoma to assess safety and feasibility.
The FDA shortened the required safety follow-up to 24 months from 5 years, cutting the period by about 60%.
