Controladora Vuela held an extraordinary shareholder meeting on Sept. 3, 2026, focused on steps tied to its planned merger with VIVA.
Shareholders adopted amendments to the company’s bylaws, to take effect when the merger agreement is executed.
They endorsed a post-merger board lineup, effective upon execution of the merger agreement, including a resignation and a new independent appointment.
The meeting also backed changes to the technical committee of the Irrevocable Trust Agreement No. 80676 (CPO Issuer Trust), effective upon execution.
Shareholders designated delegates to formalize and implement the resolutions.
