Vox Royalty Secures 20-Year Access at Los Filos, 588,000 Ounces Remain
VOXR•Vox Royalty’s 50% gold offtake-stream at Los Filos covers up to 1.1 million ounces, with 588,000 ounces remaining after initial deliveries. Newly signed 20-year land access agreements enable Equinox to plan a phased heap leach restart targeting 280,000 ounces annually, potentially unlocking up to 140,000 annual ounces for Vox.
1. Land Access Agreements De-risk Operations
On June 25, Equinox signed 20-year land access agreements with the communities of Carrizalillo, Mezcala and Xochipala at the Los Filos mine, securing surface access, labour and supply policies that underpin a phased heap leach restart and support technical studies for potential CIL expansions.
2. Vox’s Gold Offtake-Stream Details
Vox holds a gold offtake-stream covering 50% of production at Los Filos up to 1,100,000 delivered ounces; prior holders have received approximately 512,000 ounces, leaving roughly 588,000 ounces available for Vox upon production ramp-up.
3. Production Potential and Deliveries
Equinox aims to resume gold output at 280,000 ounces annually once restart phases are complete, which could translate into up to 140,000 ounces per year delivered to Vox, subject to permitting, development milestones and community agreements.
