Wall St opens lower after hot CPI data fuels rate-hike bets

U.S. stocks opened lower after hotter-than-expected inflation boosted bets of an interest rate hike this month, as investors parsed bank earnings. The Dow fell 0.16%, the S&P 500 dropped 0.40% and the Nasdaq declined 0.63% at the open.
