1. Weber Unveils 2026 Seamless Smart Grilling Ecosystem

Weber today introduced its 2026 portfolio, marking the backyard’s first fully integrated smart grilling ecosystem. By uniting smart grills, accessories and the WEBER CONNECT® App across charcoal, gas and electric platforms, the company aims to deliver consistent, precision cooking control for all fuel types. This launch follows Weber’s acquisition of advanced IoT capabilities in late 2025 and represents its largest product expansion in five years, targeting a projected 15% increase in global smart grill sales by year-end.

2. Performer® Smart Charcoal Grill and Kettle Smart Ring Launch

The centerpiece of Weber’s new offerings is the 22-inch Performer® Premium Smart Charcoal Grill, featuring an LCD Wi-Fi controller that auto-regulates airflow for stable temperatures during long smokes, plus Rapidfire™ Assist for 30% faster startup. Equipped with dual probe ports and app-controlled settings, it complements the Kettle Smart Ring, which retrofits existing 22-inch charcoal grills with Bluetooth connectivity and automated damper adjustments. Together, these products are expected to drive a 20% uplift in Weber’s charcoal segment revenues in 2026.

3. Innovative Smart Probes, Hub Display and Connectivity

Weber’s Smart Wireless Probe Plus with integrated booster and charging case delivers cable-free, dual-band (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) temperature monitoring up to 150 feet from the grill. The new Smart Hub Display extends probe support to four wireless and two wired sensors, offering a back-lit LCD for real-time data without a smartphone. The Smart Probe and Grate Sensor, designed for both indoor ovens and open-flame grills, brings sub-1°F accuracy. These products round out Weber’s CONNECT ecosystem, projected to grow probe accessory attach rates from 12% to 28% among grill owners.

4. Genesis® and Spirit® Smart Gas Grill Enhancements and Accessory Innovations

Updates to Weber’s flagship GENESIS® and SPIRIT® gas grills include factory-built Wi-Fi/Bluetooth digital thermometers and an ultra-hot Sear Zone reaching 750°F for rapid searing. New side tables feature modular rails compatible with the WEBER WORKS™ accessory system, which now offers 10 snap-on tools and a dedicated cleaning-wipe holder. Weber anticipates these enhancements will boost gas grill sales by 10% and increase accessory attachments by 35% in key North American markets during the upcoming summer season.
