West Pharmaceutical Services completed the July 1, 2026 sale and transfer of manufacturing and supply rights for its SmartDose 3.5mL On-Body Delivery System and associated facilities. The company will continue development and production of its SmartDose 10mL On-Body Delivery System and larger-volume adaptive technologies.

1. Sale of SmartDose 3.5mL Manufacturing Rights

West completed the sale and transfer of manufacturing and supply rights for its SmartDose 3.5mL On-Body Delivery System and related facilities, closing the transaction on July 1, 2026. The divestiture shifts production responsibilities for the 3.5mL device to the acquiring party.

2. Continued Focus on Larger-Volume Systems

The company retains development and manufacturing of SmartDose 10mL On-Body Delivery System and adaptive technology for larger volumes, aligning resources to support high-demand injectable therapies and drive future growth.
