Whirlpool will mark its 115th anniversary beginning in July with employee events at its 11 U.S. manufacturing communities, engaging all 20,000 domestic employees and corporate staff in celebrations culminating on November 11.

The company produces 80% of its major appliances in American factories—three times the industry average—and has funneled $23 billion into U.S. manufacturing over the past decade, reinforcing its position as the only major U.S.-based appliance manufacturer.
3. Community Initiatives and Consumer Campaign
Whirlpool’s long-standing community programs include a $160 million, 260,000-product donation to Habitat for Humanity and partnerships with United Way, Feel Good Fridge, Care Counts and youth organizations, while a consumer-focused campaign will invite Americans to share multigenerational stories with the brand this fall.
