WISeKey, SEALSQ, WISeSat unveil commercial Quantum Spatial Orbital Cloud initiative
LAES•Deployment plan and roles for SEALSQ and WISeSat
The plan calls for progressive deployment of up to 100 satellites through 2033 to deliver post-quantum identity and quantum-randomness services from orbit.
SEALSQ is set to run the security and cloud-services layer, while WISeSat is to provide satellites, ground segment, mission control, spectrum management, and links.
The rollout remains subject to technical validation, regulatory approvals, launch availability, financing, commercial agreements, and final corporate approvals.
Commercial quantum spatial orbital cloud initiative presented in Paris
WISeKey presented its commercial Quantum Spatial Orbital Cloud initiative at the International Space Summit in Paris on Sept. 9-10, 2026.
The program targets a sovereign orbital security layer combining post-quantum semiconductors, quantum-generated trust, PKI, and secure satellite connectivity.
