Workday launched Sana, a conversational AI interface with over 300 self-service skills automating HR and finance workflows within its existing security and audit framework. Sana Enterprise extends these AI agents across Gmail, Outlook, Salesforce and SharePoint, enabling cross-system orchestration and no-code multi-step workflow automation.

Workday introduced Sana for Workday, a new conversational AI interface embedded directly in its core platform. The Sana Self-Service Agent offers over 300 skills to automate HR and finance tasks, delivering instant, cited answers and executing actions such as updating addresses and adjusting contract values.

2. Enterprise Cross-App Automation

Sana Enterprise extends AI-driven agents beyond Workday into applications like Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, Salesforce and SharePoint. These connectors enable agents to orchestrate tasks across systems, streamlining data retrieval, updates and action execution without manual context switching.

3. Integrated Security and No-Code Workflows

All Sana agents operate within Workday’s existing security, permissions and audit framework, ensuring enterprise-grade governance and compliance. The platform also supports no-code, multi-step workflows, allowing users to orchestrate and automate complex processes behind the scenes.
