Wrap, WOFT Open Florida Hub for Counter-UAS and Non-Lethal Drone Testing in Q2 2026

WRAPWRAP

Wrap established a Florida hub with WOFT for counter-UAS testing and non-lethal drone deployments, centralizing product validation and training for BolaWrap, WrapReality, WrapVision, MERLIN-1 DFR-X, targeting Q2 2026 launch. The site offers live-flight evaluations, instructor certification and federal proof-of-concept events accelerating procurement by defense, border and public safety agencies.

1. Partnership and Facility Launch

Wrap and WOFT executed a strategic agreement to establish an integrated drone testing and non-lethal response training headquarters in Florida. The facility will serve as a dedicated operational hub for counter-UAS validation and in-person NLR training, with Wrap retaining exclusive rights to all product data and refinements, and programs slated to begin in Q2 2026.

2. Testing and Validation Capabilities

The Florida site will host adversarial drone detection, kinetic and non-kinetic counter-drone methodologies, payload deployment validation, and both human-in-the-loop and autonomous response simulations. Live-flight evaluations and operational data collection will support refinement of BolaWrap, WrapReality, WrapVision and the MERLIN-1 DFR-X platform across defense, infrastructure and public safety scenarios.

3. Training Programs and Federal Engagement

Structured NLR training will include officer integration drills, instructor-level certification, policy integration workshops and executive command briefings under Wrap’s doctrine. Invitation-only federal evaluation events and proof-of-concept demonstrations aim to showcase zero-fatality deployment profiles and accelerate adoption by defense, border security and law enforcement agencies.
