WTW taps Newfront founders to scale AI across global operations
WTW appointed Spike Lipkin as Chief AI Officer and Gordon Wintrob as Head of AI Acceleration to embed Newfront’s AI-native platform across global operations following the January 2026 acquisition. These leaders will drive standardized, enterprise-wide AI deployment to accelerate insights, boost efficiency and enhance client outcomes.

WTW named Spike Lipkin as Chief AI Officer and Gordon Wintrob as Head of AI Acceleration, both reporting directly to CEO Carl Hess. Lipkin and Wintrob, co-founders of Newfront, bring expertise building AI-powered broking platforms and integrating scalable technology solutions into advisory services.

These appointments are designed to expand Newfront’s AI-native approach across WTW’s technology and business units in 140 markets. The leaders will collaborate with internal teams to establish governance, best practices and training frameworks for consistent AI adoption at scale.
