Xometry’s injection molding platform now auto-quotes orders using six additional materials—glass-filled Nylon, PBT, PC-PBT, PLA, PPE-PS and PSU—enabling customers to select the optimal polymer for applications in automotive, medical and aerospace sectors. Intelligent process recommendations automatically guide parts to the appropriate molding method, enhancing design confidence and reducing manual quoting errors.
2. On-Demand DFM Consultations
Customers can schedule free, real-time Design for Manufacturability sessions with Xometry’s manufacturing experts directly on the platform. These consultations deliver early-stage feedback on part geometry, tooling considerations and material choice, helping to minimize revision cycles, prevent costly post-tooling changes and accelerate time to production.
3. One-Click Reordering Feature
The new self-serve reordering function lets users replicate previous injection molding orders with a single click, preserving all configurations, files and contract pricing. Orders are automatically routed to the original supplier holding the mold, ensuring production consistency, eliminating handoff risks and allowing quantity or material adjustments for repeat runs.
