Xos white paper maps 117 MWh daily zero-emission power gap across LA28 venues

Xos published an LA28 venue-power analysis flagging a 117 MWh daily zero-emission electricity gap across 40-plus venues in nine zones.

The report argues diesel generators miss the renewable target, while permanent grid hookups conflict with a no-new-infrastructure commitment.

It positions mobile battery-based power as the only scalable option, citing Hub units delivering up to 300 kW with 210-630 kWh storage.

Xos estimates a 37-unit deployment could provide about 9.1 MW of power and 20,160 kWh of storage across venue archetypes.

The analysis notes eight Xos Hub units are already deployed with LADWP, supporting near-term feasibility for Los Angeles operations.
