Xpeng achieved its first quarterly profit of 383.2m yuan in Q4 2025, reversing a 1.33bn yuan loss year-on-year. Total revenue rose 38.2% to 22.25bn yuan, with vehicle sales revenue up 30% to 19.07bn yuan, gross margin climbing to 21.3%, and deliveries reaching 116,249 vehicles.

For the year ended December 31, 2025, Xpeng narrowed its net loss to 1.14bn yuan from 5.79bn yuan a year earlier. Annual revenue surged 87.7% to 76.72bn yuan, vehicle sales revenue climbed 90.8% to 68.38bn yuan, gross margin improved to 18.9%, and total deliveries rose 125.9% to 429,445 vehicles.
3. Profitability Drivers
The quarterly turnaround and margin expansion were driven by higher production volumes, strong demand for Xpeng’s EV lineup, cost efficiencies from scale production, and an expanded retail network of 721 stores across 255 cities. Technological leadership in autonomous driving features also supported pricing power and operational leverage.
4. Future Outlook
Xpeng is targeting mass production of second-generation VLA models for international markets and aims to advance L4 autonomous driving capabilities. The company also plans to scale humanoid robot manufacturing, positioning its Physical AI strategy as a key growth driver in 2026.
