Yatsen presents record 20 research studies at IFSCC Cosmetics Congress
YSG•Yatsen presented a record 20 research studies at the 36th IFSCC Congress in Perth, nearly double its 2025 total, and said cumulative R&D investment exceeded RMB 770 million.
1. Research presentation
Yatsen presented 20 studies at the congress, its fifth consecutive appearance; the studies were selected from more than 1,200 submissions. One study introduced a microbiology testing method designed to minimize preservative interference and reduce false negatives.
2. R&D investment
The company said cumulative R&D investment exceeded RMB 770 million, with annual spending above 3% of revenue for four consecutive years.
