1. Zebra to Showcase AI-Powered Solutions at NRF 2026
Zebra Technologies will exhibit its latest AI-driven hardware, software and services at Retail’s Big Show from January 11–13, 2026 in New York City. At Booth #3303, the company will demonstrate end-to-end solutions designed to help retailers meet consumer demands for seamless omnichannel experiences. According to Zebra’s 2025 Global Shopper Study, 80% of consumers prioritize connected online and in-store interactions, while 89% of frontline associates report they could serve customers more effectively with advanced technology.
2. Introduction of TC501 and TC701 Handheld Mobile Computers
Zebra is launching two ultra-rugged, AI-native mobile computers, the TC501 and TC701, featuring the industry’s first AMOLED displays and a color-imaging scan engine. Powered by Qualcomm® Dragonwing™ Q-6690 processors and supporting Wi-Fi 7, 5G and UHF RFID with Impinj Gen2x extensions, these devices deliver real-time location awareness, enhanced data security and faster, more accurate barcode and RFID capture in challenging retail environments.
3. Frontline AI Suite to Automate Retail Workflows
The intelligence behind Zebra’s new devices is driven by its Frontline AI Suite. Frontline AI Enablers provide on-device computer vision and text-recognition models that cut latency and improve decision speed. Frontline AI Blueprints combine these enablers into workflow templates for tasks such as shelf merchandising, proof of delivery and voice-guided assistance, reducing error rates and freeing associates for customer engagement. Zebra Companion, the suite’s GenAI-driven agent platform, now empowers retail teams with on-demand product knowledge and sales coaching via natural-language interface.
4. Additional Innovations on Display
Beyond handheld computers, Zebra will demo ShareCradle, a modular USB-PD 3.1 charging system compatible with current and future devices; the SP20 Single-Plane Scanner with an 80% larger field of view; and a new Salesforce Retail Cloud POS for personalized, efficient checkout. Attendees can also learn about Zebra’s device rental service for seasonal peaks; enhanced Workcloud Sync and Task Management with AI-powered task scheduling and multilingual chat; and the ET401 enterprise tablet with integrated RFID processing to minimize out-of-stock scenarios.
