Zions Bancorporation reported Q2 net earnings applicable to common shareholders of $452 million; diluted EPS rose to $3.05 from $1.63 a year earlier.
Noninterest income climbed to $460 million, more than doubled from $190 million, lifted by $252 million of pre-tax net gains.
Net interest income increased 4% to $677 million on lower funding costs; net interest margin widened 10 basis points to 3.27%.
Total loans and leases grew 3% to $62.48 billion from Dec. 31, 2025; deposits rose 1% to $76.61 billion.
Acquisition update
Zions completed the acquisition of Basis Multifamily Finance I, LLC on July 31, adding an agency lending platform with mortgage servicing rights and expanding Fannie Mae DUS and Freddie Mac Optigo programs.
