Akamai expanded a technology collaboration with MuleSoft to integrate Akamai API Security with MuleSoft’s Agent Fabric governance platform.
- Two-way data sync links MuleSoft Exchange API specifications with Akamai runtime intelligence to flag drift, undocumented endpoints, shadow APIs, MCP servers.
- The integration feeds Akamai behavioral analytics and risk scores into MuleSoft’s control plane to extend policy control across agentic workflows.
- More than 20 joint customers already use the integration, with additional product updates planned for the second half of 2026.
