Alarm.com Unveils AI Video Event Search, 4MP Solar Spotlight Camera and Familiar Face Doorbell

Alarm.com launched AI Video Event Search enabling natural-language clip queries such as “red pickup truck” and expanded hardware with the 4MP ADC-V731B battery-powered spotlight camera offering solar support and a 140° field of view. It also unveiled the ADC-VDB775 video doorbell with Familiar Face recognition and Perimeter Guard alerts.

1. AI Video Event Search Launch

Alarm.com has launched AI Video Event Search as an opt-in feature for Premium Video and Commercial Video Plus customers, allowing natural-language queries to surface the most relevant saved clip thumbnails. Users can refine searches by date or camera, and mobile voice-to-text support lets customers locate specific events without manual footage review.

2. ADC-V731B Battery Spotlight Camera Features

The ADC-V731B is a 4MP battery-powered spotlight camera with a 140° horizontal field of view and integrated color night spotlight. Optional solar panel support extends battery life for hard-to-reach indoor and outdoor locations, while NDAA compliance and two-way audio ensure secure, interactive monitoring across properties.

3. ADC-VDB775 Video Doorbell Enhancements

The ADC-VDB775 video doorbell combines high-resolution video with Familiar Face recognition, enabling customers to enroll known visitors and reduce false alerts. Onboard microSD recording, detection of people, packages, vehicles, and animals, plus Perimeter Guard alerts and two-way audio deliver proactive front-door security with optional AI Deterrence services.

4. Unified Video Security Platform

These updates integrate into Alarm.com’s unified platform, which blends intelligent software, flexible hardware, and professional monitoring.
