Alphabet has formed a strategic partnership with Sea Ltd to develop AI shopping and game development tools for Shopee and Garena. Shopee held a 52% Southeast Asia e-commerce market share in 2024 and the new AI features could strengthen its lead against Alibaba’s Lazada.
