Alphabet has integrated a redesigned Help module in its Gemini chatbot that detects signs of suicide or self-harm and offers a one-touch interface to call, text or chat with crisis hotlines. The option to contact professional help remains accessible throughout conversations to improve user safety and engagement.

2. $30M Commitment to Crisis Hotline Capacity

Alphabet has pledged $30 million over three years to expand global crisis hotline capacity and is allocating an additional $4 million to its ReflexAI partnership, integrating Gemini into training tools for social sector organizations. Clinical experts helped develop these features to ensure immediate access to care.

3. Five-Year TPU Partnership with Broadcom

Google has entered a five-year agreement with Broadcom to design and supply tensor processing units and networking components for its next-generation AI racks. This pact is expected to raise Broadcom’s AI accelerator deployment share from under 10% in 2025 to over 15% by 2027, securing long-term hardware visibility.
