Amazon has agreed to invest up to $25 billion more in Anthropic, adding to its initial $8 billion stake and structuring $20 billion of the commitment around commercial milestones to drive performance and collaboration.
2. Long-Term AWS Infrastructure Deal
Under the arrangement, Anthropic will spend over $100 billion on AWS infrastructure over the next decade, leveraging Trainium and Graviton chips and securing up to 5 gigawatts of compute capacity for model training and deployment.
3. Claude Chatbot Integration
The partnership embeds Anthropic’s Claude chatbot platform directly into AWS accounts, eliminating separate credentials or billing and positioning AWS as a one-stop shop for generative AI services.
