American Resources, ReElement expand Uzbekistan partnership for tungsten refining demonstration
AREC•American Resources and ReElement Technologies signed an agreement on October 19, 2026, to advance tungsten refining cooperation in Uzbekistan, including a demonstration program at ReElement’s U.S. facilities.
1. Tungsten refining program
The agreement with Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex and the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan will assess commercial viability, product quality and scalability by processing Uzbek-sourced tungsten at ReElement’s U.S. facilities. The collaboration also includes preliminary engineering and economic modeling for potential refining operations in Uzbekistan and expands a November 2025 agreement.
