AAPL•Apple appointed insider Steve Smith as head of mergers and acquisitions and moved Adrian Perica to its services division, a memo showed. Perica will report to services chief Eddy Cue, while Smith will report to CFO Kevan Parekh.

Apple appointed Steve Smith as head of mergers and acquisitions and moved Adrian Perica to its services division, according to a memo written by Eddy Cue. Perica, a 17-year veteran of Apple's M&A and corporate development function, will focus entirely on the services leadership team and report to Cue.
2. Services and App Store
Perica took oversight of iCloud, Fitness+ and News, among other businesses, in 2023. Cue wrote, “We have big plans for services and I'm thrilled to be getting more of Adrian's time.” Apple is also reportedly promoting Carson Oliver to vice president of the App Store.
