Aptorum and DiamiR Reveal 3 Biomarker Studies at AAIC; Merger Closing Pre-Fiscal 2027
APM•Aptorum Group and DiamiR Biosciences will present three biomarker studies at the 2026 Alzheimer’s Association International Conference July 11–15, covering plasma-based APOE genotyping and microRNA markers of Alzheimer’s progression. The all-stock merger approved June 9 is due to close before fiscal 2027, renaming the combined company Niki BioSolutions.
1. Conference Presentations
Aptorum Group and DiamiR Biosciences will present three studies at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference July 11–15 in London. These include plasma-based APOE genotyping (Poster #1160) and circulating brain-enriched microRNA biomarkers for cognitive impairment progression (Poster #1037) on July 12, plus an automated point-of-care APOE genotyping protocol (Poster #1282) on July 14.
2. Merger Update
Shareholders of both companies approved the all-stock merger on June 9, 2026, and the transaction is expected to close before fiscal 2027 pending customary closing conditions. Upon closing, DiamiR will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Aptorum Group, and the combined entity will be renamed Niki BioSolutions.
