Aqua Metals to Showcase Hydrometallurgical LFP Recycling at July 7-9 Workshop

Aqua Metals’ executive leadership will attend the NAATBatt 2026 Recycling & Lifecycle Management Workshop at Michigan State University from July 7 to 9 to network with battery manufacturers, automotive OEMs, energy storage developers and policymakers.

President and CEO Steve Cotton will deliver the featured talk titled “Innovative Approaches to Recycling LFP: Building Circular Supply Chains for the Full Battery Lifecycle,” focusing on scalable hydrometallurgical processes for lithium iron phosphate battery recycling.

The workshop sessions and executive panel will inform Aqua Metals’ commercialization roadmap by exploring domestic solutions for manufacturing scrap, warranty returns, repowering projects and end-of-life battery management.
