Armstrong World Industries supplies wood-look aluminum pergolas for Electric Pickle venue
AWI•Armstrong World Industries supplied three wood-look extruded aluminum pergola-style systems for the Electric Pickle indoor-outdoor pickleball venue in Tempe, Arizona. The structures provide shade, define guest areas and support courtside dining.
1. Pergola systems installed
The three systems use a Pacific Kwila woodgrain finish, selected as a non-combustible, non-warping alternative to wood for high-traffic outdoor use. They were designed to diffuse noise from simultaneous pickleball play, though the aluminum components are not acoustically rated.
