Chevron New Energies head Gustavson targets scalable lower-carbon businesses, including hydrogen and carbon capture
CVX•Chevron New Energies President Jeff Gustavson outlined plans to scale lower-carbon businesses led by hydrogen and carbon capture, while also pursuing commercialization in power and offsets and growing biofuels.
1. Lower-carbon business plans
Gustavson said Chevron is working to scale lower-carbon businesses, led by hydrogen and carbon capture, and is pursuing commercialization efforts in power and offsets while continuing to grow biofuels. He also oversees Chevron’s enterprise AI program, which aims at value creation, operational excellence, cost efficiency and companywide AI innovation.
