Array Technologies Doubles OmniTrack Flexibility to 2° for Cost Savings
ARRY•Array Technologies increased OmniTrack tracker's flex capability from 1° to 2° between posts, one of the highest in the utility-scale solar market. The update cuts site grading needs, reduces construction costs and accelerates deployment, with units available to quote now and shipping in Q3 2026.
1. Enhanced OmniTrack Flexibility
Array Technologies has enhanced its OmniTrack terrain-following solar tracker to allow up to 2° of flex between adjacent posts, doubling the previous 1° capacity and ranking among the highest in the utility-scale segment. Built on the proven DuraTrack platform, OmniTrack now represents the largest share of Array’s orderbook.
2. Deployment and Cost Benefits
The increased flexibility reduces the need for site grading and shorter average pile lengths, cutting construction costs, accelerating commissioning timelines and preserving natural terrain and hydrology to streamline permitting and lower environmental impact.
3. Market Impact and Availability
Array is quoting the updated OmniTrack immediately, with shipments expected in Q3 2026, aiming to expand the tracker’s applicability to more uneven and challenging sites and reinforce its commitment to engineered simplicity and customer value.
