AstraZeneca entered an exclusive global license with Dizal for Zegfrovy, an oral EGFR inhibitor for lung cancer, gaining worldwide development and commercialization rights.
Financial terms include an upfront payment of USD 600 million, up to USD 900 million in milestones, and tiered royalties on global sales.
Deal closing is expected in H2 2026, subject to regulatory clearances.
Zegfrovy is cleared in the US and China for previously treated EGFR exon 20 insertion NSCLC; a first-line filing is under FDA and China review.
