Atlas Lithium named Admiral Flávio Rocha, a former Brazilian Cabinet member with 43 years in strategic affairs and international relations, to its Board of Directors. His expertise is expected to strengthen government relations and de-risk the Neves Project, which boasts a 145% IRR, $539 million NPV and 11-month payback.

1. Board Appointment Details

Atlas Lithium has appointed Admiral Flávio Rocha to its Board as an independent director. Admiral Rocha served as Chief of the Secretariat for Strategic Affairs of Brazil and brings over 43 years in strategy, governance, logistics and international relations.

2. Strengthening Government Relations

His extensive network from roles as a former Cabinet member and naval officer is expected to enhance Atlas Lithium’s engagement with Brazilian regulators and expedite permitting on the Neves Project.

3. Neves Project De-risking

The Neves Project has a completed Definitive Feasibility Study showing a 145% IRR, $539 million NPV and an 11-month payback period. Operational permits are in place and the dense media separation plant has been acquired and transported to Brazil.

4. Board and Strategic Expertise

Admiral Rocha’s prior board experience with major Brazilian firms and academic background in geopolitical strategy will support corporate governance and strategic planning as Atlas Lithium advances toward production.
