Avangrid deployed more than 1,370 crews to restore power during severe storms and extreme heat across the US Northeast.
Outages affected more than 283,000 customers in New York, Connecticut and Maine over the Fourth of July weekend, starting July 1.
Avangrid framed the response as underscoring the need for continued investment to harden and modernize electric grids against extreme weather.
