1. Correction to Production Figures
Avino Silver & Gold Mines issued a correction for its Q1 2026 production release, removing an erroneous 'million' reference. The accurate figures show 263,057 ounces of silver, 1,851 ounces of gold and 1,343,654 pounds of copper, aggregating to 568,112 silver equivalent ounces.
2. Q1 2026 Production Performance
In Q1 2026, mill throughput rose 11% year-over-year to 185,497 dry tonnes, while planned sequencing into lower-grade zones led to a 10% decrease in silver equivalent output compared to Q1 2025. Development material from La Preciosa contributed 49,830 silver ounces and targeted upgrades supported improved recovery rates across all metals.
3. Mineral Reserve Estimate Update
The company released inaugural proven and probable reserves for two assets, totaling 27 million tonnes containing 95 million ounces of silver at 109 g/t, 356,000 ounces of gold at 0.41 g/t and 85 million pounds of copper at 0.31%. These translate to 127 million silver equivalent ounces at a grade of 145 g/t.
