Baker Hughes won a multi-year contract with Kuwait Oil Company to enhance mature-field oil production using ESPs, real-time monitoring and automation. This deal marks a strategic expansion of Baker Hughes’ production enhancement services in Kuwait’s oilfields.
1. BKR Secures Multi-Year Contract in Kuwait for Production Enhancement
Baker Hughes has been awarded a multi-year service agreement by Kuwait Oil Company to deploy electrical submersible pumps (ESPs), real-time field monitoring systems and advanced automation across several mature oil fields. The contract, effective immediately, will see BKR engineers install and commission ESPs on over 50 wells, with performance data transmitted via cloud-enabled sensors to a centralized operations center in Kuwait City. The deal includes a multi-tiered service package covering routine maintenance, predictive analytics and software upgrades, positioning BKR to capture additional aftermarket revenue estimated at more than $25 million over the life of the agreement.
2. Baker Hughes Announces Q4 and Full-Year 2025 Earnings Release Dates
Baker Hughes will publish its fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 financial results on Sunday, January 25 at 5 p.m. Eastern Time.
