2. Expansion targets
A multimodal financial assistant called Blue is slated for gradual rollout to retail and business customers in 2027. Broader expansion of AI tools is planned that year for retail relationship management, commercial banking, corporate and investment banking, and risk functions; BBVA targets moving 90% of online transactions to the cloud by 2029.
