It also introduced an 18-color Outdoor Accent collection exclusive to Home Depot, spanning hues from Ocean Abyss to Unmellow Yellow for trim, doors and furniture.

Behr Paint has selected Taupe as its 2026 Exterior Stain Color of the Year, a blend of soft brown and gray undertones designed to bring balance and harmony to home exteriors. It encourages pairing with Cordovan Brown or cool-toned Pewter to accent railings, trim and decking borders without a full renovation.
2. Outdoor Accent Color Collection
The new Outdoor Accent Color Collection comprises 18 exterior paint hues tailored for shutters, trim, entryways and outdoor furniture. The palette ranges from deep Ocean Abyss and warm Rumors to vibrant Unmellow Yellow and earthy Baronial Brown, with select shades available in spray paint for quick DIY updates.

Both the 2026 Exterior Stain Color of the Year and the Outdoor Accent collection are sold exclusively at The Home Depot.
