Blaize Appoints New CRO, Signs Nokia MoU and Files $250M Shelf Registration
Blaize Holdings named Stephen Patak Chief Revenue Officer on February 11 to drive global revenue. On January 27 Blaize signed a strategic MoU with Nokia Solutions to deploy edge AI solutions in Asia Pacific and filed a shelf registration for up to $250 million in mixed securities.
1. Appointment of Chief Revenue Officer
On February 11 Blaize Holdings appointed Stephen Patak as Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, Patak will lead global revenue generation and refine go-to-market execution, leveraging his previous experience in AI infrastructure sales to accelerate adoption across public and private sector customers.
2. Asia Pacific Collaboration
On January 27 Blaize entered a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Nokia Solutions and Networks Singapore Pte. Ltd. The partnership will jointly explore and deploy programmable edge and hybrid AI inference platforms across Asia Pacific, targeting low-latency, energy-efficient solutions for telecom, industrial automation and smart infrastructure use cases.
3. $250 Million Shelf Registration
Also on January 27 the company filed a shelf registration on Form S-3 enabling offers of up to $250 million in common stock, preferred stock, debt, warrants and units. This mixed-shelf framework provides financial flexibility to fund product development, commercial expansion and strategic partnerships over time.
