1. BP cancels attendance
BP said it was unable to attend the World Petroleum Council Energy Congress in Riyadh in person because of travel disruption after a missile attack on the city's international airport killed 13 people and wounded more than 300. The airport had been closed since Saturday, and Saudi authorities reported injuries in another attack there on Sunday.
2. Conference proceeds
The five-day conference went ahead as scheduled on Sunday at a convention centre about 10 km from the airport. BP CEO Meg O'Neill had appeared on previous conference agendas. BP said it valued its longstanding partnerships across the region.
