Brazil Potash signed a 28-year Build-Own-Operate contract with Gera Center for a modular power plant at the Autazes project.
- 20 MW diesel generation will supply construction power for about five years, then shift to 23 years of backup once grid access is available.
- The deal cuts about USD 33 million from upfront construction capex, with about USD 10 million net savings expected over the contract.
- Initial capacity is set at 10 MW, rising to 20 MW within a year.
- Initial mobilization is targeted within 120 days of an order to proceed.
