Segro shares jump on takeover-bid support
Shares of British warehousing group Segro SGRO.L were up 6.9% at 956.6p, making it the top gainer on the FTSE 100 index .FTSE.
The stock hit its highest level since September 2022.
Company backs Prologis bid and gets deadline extension
Segro said on Wednesday it was minded to back Prologis PLD.N's £14 billion ($18.73 billion) takeover bid and secured a last-minute extension to the takeover deadline.
