The Franklin site is set to expand LITX battery-grade conductive carbons, while Pampa is expected to launch the first commercial-scale carbon nanostructures under the ENERMAX family.
Both projects are slated to be operational by the end of 2028, with the aim of strengthening domestic supply for the U.S. battery supply chain.

Cabot will expand North American battery materials output under a modified USD 50 million U.S. Department of Energy grant, shifting funding from a Michigan project.
The plan targets advanced conductive additives production at Franklin, Louisiana, and Pampa, Texas, backed by about USD 75 million of company investment.
