Cabot Launches EVOLVE Carbon Production in Cilegon and Tianjin Facilities
Cabot has validated its EVOLVE Sustainable Solutions platform at its Cilegon, Indonesia, and Tianjin, China plants to begin producing circular reinforcing carbon from tire pyrolysis oil under an ISCC PLUS mass balance model. The company now offers these sustainable carbons across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, enhancing regional supply chains.
1. Asia Pacific Production Launch
On February 18, Cabot announced its circular reinforcing carbon production is now operational at the Cilegon, Indonesia, and Tianjin, China facilities using the EVOLVE Sustainable Solutions platform.
2. EVOLVE Technology and Feedstock
These carbons are derived from tire pyrolysis oil and produced under an ISCC PLUS mass balance approach, enabling traceability and supporting tire circularity goals with a lower environmental footprint.
