CAP Accreditation Strengthens CNSide Diagnostics Lab for U.S. Commercial Expansion
PSTV•Plus Therapeutics’ Houston-based CNSide Diagnostics lab received CAP accreditation after rigorous inspection of its protocols, quality controls, personnel and facilities. This milestone bolsters payor negotiations and supports U.S. commercial expansion of the CNSide CSF Assay Platform for leptomeningeal metastases and other CNS cancers.
1. CAP Accreditation Achieved
CNSide Diagnostics’ Houston laboratory underwent a comprehensive CAP on-site inspection, evaluating clinical protocols, documentation, quality control, personnel qualifications, equipment, and safety programs, resulting in accreditation under the CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program.
2. Commercial and Reimbursement Impact
CAP accreditation builds on existing CLIA certification and is expected to strengthen payor engagement, supporting discussions with commercial and government payors for broader coverage and reimbursement of the CNSide CSF Assay Platform.
